You may not know, but I order fabric about six months in advance and hope that when it arrives I still like it! Back in June 2012, I ordered the full range of "Dancing in the Rain"... a Moda fabric designed by Laundry Basket Quilts which was a 'must have' at the time. Well...... it arrived last week and with some trepidation I unpacked the boxes. I STILL LOVE IT. It is gorgeous!!! A reproduction range with accompanying batik charm packs and jelly rolls.
Designed by Edita Sitar of Laundry Basket Quilts, her blog is worth a visit. She has a fabulous idea for a light box. Now............ I haven't seen this before (you may have), so just bear with me. Most of us have a perspex 'table' we use on our sewing machines to extend our sewing area. I have one for my Bernina - it is quite large. Edita uses this table and places a battery operated light beneath it and Voilà - a light box. Very clever!!!!
If you are ever nearby the shop, drop in and take a look at this beautiful fabric!
